We have already seen on another occasion, how to extend the life of the battery of our OPPO mobile . These are actions that will ultimately benefit their performance, however, day by day, we can increase their autonomy, which is not what matters to reach the end of the day with sufficient load . OPPO offers us some tricks to achieve this.
ColorOS is the OPPO operating system, or rather, a fairly veteran customization layer, which is based on Android. Like any self-respecting user interface, the Chinese company works on the battery section, and allows us to stretch the milli-amps whenever we know where to play.
Extend the battery in OPPO mobiles
Update the System
OPPO itself recommends checking if we have the latest version of ColoOS. As new versions or updates are released for it, power management is often optimized, improving battery life. To check it we will have to go to Settings / Software Updates. If we have any pending, the first step is to update, before continuing to see options.
Control the brightness
If there’s one thing that’s going to drain your battery, it ‘s the screen, where the brightness settings have a lot to say. To avoid it, we can carry out a manual control of the brightness, reducing it as much as possible. To do this, we will slide up from the bottom of the screen to open the control center, and drag the brightness slider to the left, until we can continue seeing, but limiting the brightness as much as possible.
Turning on automatic brightness can help save battery power . It can be somewhat less effect than controlling it manually, but we will not forget to constantly be aware of adjusting it. To do this we go to the Control Center, and then click on Settings / Display and brightness. Then we click on activate the automatic brightness.
Remember Wi-Fi
We know that data rates are getting bigger. Even unlimited data bonuses are offered. This causes the data to be on longer. In many occasions we do not mind browsing the data network even when we are at home. Remember that the Wi-Fi network consumes less energy than the mobile network, therefore, we must keep the Wi-Fi on as much as possible.
Turn off the unnecessary
Connections like GPS, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi when not in use consume a lot of power . Ideally, turn them off when they are not needed. Similarly, turning off synchronization is one of the keys to saving battery when we need more autonomy. We can do it from Settings / Accounts and synchronization and click on “Deactivate automatic data synchronization” This will prevent apps from automatically synchronizing with the Google server or other servers.
Battery manager
If we go to Settings / Battery on our OPPO mobile, we find several options to save battery considerably. The first is to activate the Saving Mode, which will limit much of the energy consumed in the background. In addition, we can carry out an intelligent analysis to find those apps that are spending more battery unnecessarily. Once the analysis is done, we will be offered the option to close these applications to save battery life.
In this menu, we can also activate “Smart battery saving”. This is a highly recommended function, since it leaves energy management out of the system for those apps that we use more or less. Based on this, the mobile will grant more or less privileges related to energy consumption, limiting the use in the background or its execution at the beginning. This is one of the best ways to save battery.
