The Korean company LG continues to bet on 5G technology, with more affordable bets for all pockets. After some recent and striking launches such as the LG Wing, now it is the turn of the LG K92 5G coming out . The design of this terminal had previously been leaked, drawing attention for its atypical rear, but it is already official.
The race for 5G is still on the rise and although prices have yet to drop a lot, many companies are starting to place their cheapest bets. This new LG K92 5G , becomes the first terminal that supports this technology within LG’s K family, in the same way that a few months ago the LG Q92 5G was presented, as a similar bet within the LG Q family.
Technical characteristics
When we take a look at the terminal, we see that it mounts a 6.7-inch FullHD + screen with FullVision technology and that it looks quite rushed frames. In addition, it has a hole in the upper part of its screen to house the selfie sensor. The terminal is out of the usual mass, showing a two-tone design on the rear panel, differentiating the cameras and the part dedicated to the LG logo.
This LG K92 5G integrates a Snapdragon 690 processor, which we have seen in other recently launched affordable 5G devices like the OnePlus Nord N10 5G. In this case, it is accompanied by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. This memory can be expanded by microSD cards up to 2TB. We also see that it has a 4,000 mAh battery compatible with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4 fast charge and that it comes with Android 10 as standard.
In the cameras section, the K92 5G sports four rear sensors, with a 64 megapixel main lens and f / 1.78 aperture, a 5 megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and macro and depth sensors of 2 megapixels each. The aforementioned front hole sensor reaches 16 megapixels. As we say, the terminal is compatible with 5G and does not lack a fingerprint sensor, although in this case it has been placed on the side.
Price and date of sale
So far, LG has confirmed the availability of the K92 5G for the US market, as part of the deal with several national carriers. The price of the terminal starts at 359 dollars. However, we will have to wait to know the international marketing plans for the device.
