How to Improve the Weapon in Zombies Outbreak with the Power-up

The new mode included in Season 2 of Cold War is hooking thousands of players. In Outbreak we will have to complete a series of missions while we dodge and annihilate zombies without stopping, with the peculiarity that, if we complete the mission, we will be able to continue advancing in new challenges with even more difficulty.

If you want to win, upgrade your weapon

As you complete challenges in Outbreak, the zombies will improve their resistance and become increasingly difficult to take down. It doesn’t matter how fast you are and how well you completed the mission. If they continue to accept missions, the zombies will be more powerful, and that direct shot to the head that you unleashed in the first game is useless now, since it will resist more than one. The solution? Upgrade your weapon .

Improve the Weapon in Zombies

The power-up machines (or Pack a Punch ) will offer the possibility of increasing the destructive power of your weapons in exchange for the coins that we will collect during the game, a currency that we will exchange in the power-up machine in order to raise the level of the weapon that we carry in these moments.

In total, we can improve the weapon up to 3 times, however, it will not be an easy task, since each level will require more money to reach it. We will start with a delivery of 5,000 points , then we will go to 15,000 points and finally 30,000 to reach the maximum level.

How do you get points?

Getting points is very easy, but getting all the points is difficult. That is, to get points you just have to shoot the zombies and knock them down, and that will give us between 20 and 35 points . So far so good, the problem is that reaching the 50,000 points that are needed in total to reach the three levels of weapon improvement is not easy at all while you are adding from 35 to 35. There is the problem, so you know that a good fight awaits you.

Where are the Pack a Punch machines?

The good news is that power-up machines are very easy to find, unlike what happened in Firebase Z. Each map will have a machine located at a specific point, so you only have to go to it to redeem your coins. This is the location of each of the machines on each map:

  • Alpine: Go to the shelter and inside you will find the machine, right in the main hall.

  • Ruka: Very easy to find, follow the map icon until you reach the old farm

  • Golova: This time the machine is located on the top floor of the building in the upper part of the city, so you will have to climb the stairs to find it.

Are there more Pack a Punch machines?

If for some reason your route did not leave any of these machines nearby, you can always find a new machine when you finish the main challenge that the level poses. When you finish completing the mission, the map will show a new point of interest called Anomaly, a place where a rift will appear in which you will have to interact.

When doing so, a beacon will appear to be able to jump to another map (much more complicated, but completely optional), and next to this beacon, a workbench and the second power-up machine or Pack a Punch will also appear.

Our advice is that you take advantage of these elements and continue exploring the current map by performing secondary missions and obtaining more points, since if you decide to jump off the map things will get very complicated.
