At this point in the film, no one escapes that Huawei has a clear disadvantage over its rivals. That their phones arrive without Google Services is an inconvenience for many users, despite the fact that their installation is very simple as we have seen on other occasions. However, the Chinese company continues to cling to Google as much as possible, launching mobiles in 2020 that do integrate Google Services.
We have already told you on our site why some (very few) of the mobiles launched by Huawei in 2020 have Google Services and others do not. The summary is that the company takes advantage of licenses granted for other models, launching modifications of the same or others with a different name but with practically the same hardware specifications.
Mobile with Google Services
There are very few terminals that Huawei has launched in 2020 with Google Services and we have that they will be less and less, because the United States veto has been extended for a year. Let’s take a look at those that do integrate all the Google apps and that we can buy in the middle of 2020.
Huawei P30 Pro New Edition
We are possibly facing the best Huawei mobile that we can buy with Google Services, since future generations such as the Mate 30 or P40 series already came with this lack. The Huawei P30 Pro New Edition is a hardware-level twin of the P30 Pro.
However, it is launched with the Silver Frost color that characterizes the P40 series and has a base version of 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, thus disappearing the option of 128 GB. In the promotional images of the device we see the wallpaper of the P40, as a patch so that everything “sounds” more current.
Huawei P30 Lite New Edition
It was at the beginning of the year when Huawei surprised with a new version of last year’s P30 Lite. In this case, the terminal also improves on the standard model, increasing the RAM from 4 to 6 GB, and the internal storage from 128 to 256 GB. Again and thanks to this move, the terminal has been able to go to market with Google Services.
Huawei P Smart 2020
It is another of the Huawei novelties that will go on sale in Spain on June 8. It is one of the hopes of Huawei to start good sales in the operator channel and defending through and through that Google Services does bring. At the hardware level, it remains unchanged compared to the 2019 P Smart, but the rear camera module comes camouflaged with a design more typical of 2020.
Huawei Y8s
This terminal has been recently presented and arrives as a re-edition of the Huawei Y9 2019, which was released in late 2018 . For this reason, although Huawei has modernized the dual rear camera module, we found a notch to house the front sensors, which the firm had extinguished in favor of a notch or hole in the screen. Unlike previous models, we still do not know if it will end up landing in Spain.
