Huawei P40 Pro: Camera Improvements in Its Latest Update

At the moment, many consider that the Huawei P40 Pro has the best cameras on the market . Even the famous test laboratory DxOMark has positioned the flagship of Huawei in the first position of results both in the rear cameras and in the selfie section. But that does not mean that the terminal has no room for improvement, as its latest update shows.

Huawei P40 Pro: Camera Improvements in Its Latest Update

We continually see how a terminal that comes onto the market, has a lot of room for improvement, which is coming in the form of software updates. Within these updates, cameras are often the protagonists, improving their final quality or even adding new functions . These improvements can go to the rear or front cameras and in this case, the selfies of the P40 Pro will achieve a more professional result.

Now, the protagonist is the Huawei P40 Pro, which once again improves its cameras. After its launch last March, the terminal has received several updates that include new functions for EMUI 10.1, which is the version with which the mobile came to market. Now Huawei has released a new patch to integrate the powerful Super Night Selfie 3.0 feature to enhance nightly selfies. This feature was first integrated into the Huawei Nova 7 Pro, and now it reaches the company’s most powerful mobile (with permission from the P40 Pro +).

Super Night Selfie 3.0

The Super Night Selfie 3.0 improves the details of nightly selfies , achieving a more natural skin tone. According to the firm, this mode eliminates reflections from the mobile screen to obtain “immaculate” selfies. Also, this mode adds a fill light function that activates a uniform fill light effect while taking a selfie video with night mode. When the shutter is pressed in low light conditions, a circular flash will fire around the screen. A smart eye-tracking feature has also been added for remote selfies.

When does the patch arrive?

The update is starting to arrive via OTA and will be launched globally in all markets where the terminal is available. The user will receive the notice with version 10.1.0.140 of EMUI and its weight is 514 megabytes. Although as we say, the patch is coming in batches, we can always force the update to try to have it before the system itself warns us.
