One of the most popular and sold smartphones has been the Huawei P20 Lite, a smartphone that has been receiving various updates from the manufacturer that solved certain errors, although in recent times users have suffered serious problems with the Bluetooth of the smartphone.
These problems can be derived from several factors, including a linkage error or problems related to the updates we have received. So you can use Bluetooth again in your car, speakers or any other product, we show you the steps you must follow.
Remove all linked devices
The first thing to do is to eliminate the Bluetooth devices that give us error in our Huawei P20 Lite and do the same with the rest, since there may be a mistake between them that allows us to use it normally. To unlink them we just have to follow these simple steps:
- Enter Settings and click on Connectivity / Bluetooth
- Once we activate Bluetooth, we play on paired devices.
- We touch on the device that fails and then unlink.
- We do the same with everyone else if the case continues.
If after having done this the error still exists, we must be sure that we have entered the correct code requested by both devices. Even so we can unlink it again and restart the smartphone to try it again.
Reset Bluetooth settings
If our problem continues, we must go to the Settings> System> Reset network and Bluetooth settings section . With this process we are making all the data of the Bluetooth connection return to the original state and so we can use it again as the first day.
Check if your smartphone allows you to connect the devices and if not, you can try it with another mobile phone , since the problem may come from the device and not from our smartphone.
Hard reset your smartphone
Finally, if the rest of the solutions have not been useful, we have to check if there are updates that have solved it or be forced to restore factory settings in our Huawei P20 Lite. Although before we must take all the photos , music or contacts that we do not have stored in the cloud if we do not want to lose them forever. To do this we will have to turn off the smartphone and press the lock buttons and increase volume at the same time until we see the Android icon or the Huawei logo on the screen.
Once inside the hidden menu we will move with the volume keys, until we are placed on the SELECT WIPE DATA / FACTORY RESET option where we will enter by pressing the home button. Again in the same procedure we go to YES-DELLETE ALL USER DATA and then enter REBOOT SYTEM NOW . Once we have done this, the smartphone will turn off all the data of the mobile phone and we can use it again as if it were new, waiting for the Bluetooth to work.
