DualSIM functionality is vital for many users. Some use two different lines to take advantage of different rates from two different operators, while others see it as the ideal solution to carry a single mobile, and manage the line of work and staff separately. Many of the Huawei mobiles on the market have this option, and many users wonder how to put two ringtones. Luckily, EMUI has a trick to be able to do it easily, within its own music player.
When you have a mobile with DualSIM, it is important to know what number a call is coming from. When we are looking at the mobile it is easy to know because the screen shows why the incoming call is being made by SIM. For this reason it is important to select different ringtones for each SIM. Huawei phones, like many other phones, have preset tones that can be monotonous or boring, but luckily we can change that and also select a tone for each SIM, thanks to the Huawei Music tool.
Set two tones from Huawei Music
This application comes pre-installed in the terminals of the Chinese brand with EMUI, and is an excellent music player. In addition and like other players, it allows you to configure our stored music as a ringtone. However, the big difference is that many third-party players do not allow you to set two different ringtones for the two SIM cards, so Huawei Music becomes the best option. As expected, the first thing we will have to do is enter the Music application that we will have on the desktop.
Choose the song
Once inside, we can see all our music stored on the mobile, among which WhatsApp audios and other files with audio format are mixed. We will be able to locate our call tones, since they are ordered alphabetically and we also have a search engine. Once the song is selected, we will see a small editor with which we can select the seconds of the audio we want. This is useful in the case of selecting an entire song and just wanting to set the chorus as a ringtone.
Choose SIM 1 or SIM 2
Once done, we will only have to click on “Set as ringtone” , in the option at the bottom. Once pressed, we will see the option to be able to select the tone in SIM 1 and in SIM 2. We will have to repeat the process to configure the ringtone of the other SIM, or leave it as it is if we can already differentiate both tones.
