Despite all the obstacles that are being found in the west, Huawei continues to present mobile phones through thick and thin. The company is more popular than ever in China, where national love has brought affection to the terminals of the firm, which has benefited from the number of sales. Now, Huawei returns to the fray with the new Enjoy 20 Pro , a mid-range terminal that is compatible with 5G networks.
On this occasion and as one of the elements that attracts the most attention, we once again see the collaboration between Huawei and MediaTek , so that the brain of this new terminal is none other than Dimensional 800, a 5G chip focused on the mid-range that promises to do battle with Qualcomm in the mid-price segment.
Its technical characteristics
90Hz screen
The Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro arrives with a 6.57-inch screen and a FullHD + resolution . In addition, it has a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a screen ratio of 91.2% with respect to the body of the device, with an aspect ratio of 20: 9.
Processor and memory
Inside, as we say, we find the MediaTek Dimensional 800 , which comes with 6 or 8 GB of RAM and options with 64 or 128 GB of internal storage. Due to this processor, the Dimensional 800 terminal supports dual-mode six-band connectivity. It has 12 antennas and 26 types of FM, with a maximum network download speed of 1,519 Mbps.
Triple camera
At the rear we find a triple rear camera , led by a 48-megapixel f / 1.8 main sensor, an 8-megapixel f / 2.4 depth-of-field lens, and a 2-megapixel f / 2.4 macro lens. It has advanced features like super night mode or macro capture from up to 4 cm away. On the front and housed in a notch, we find a 16 megapixel selfie sensor.
Connections and battery
It does not lack the main connections including the aforementioned 5G, NFC or Bluetooth 5. It arrives keeping the classic headphone jack and has a side fingerprint sensor. It also has a 4,000 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charge . Of course it will come with EMUI 10, although being a presentation in China, there is still no trace of its possible integration or not, of Google Services in the event of its European landing.
Price and launch
Huawei has announced that the Enjoy 20 Pro can be purchased in China starting June 24. It will be available in colors, blue, silver and black. Its price will be 1,999 yuan (about 250 euros) for the variant of 6GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, and 2,299 yuan (about 290 euros) for the most powerful version with 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
At the moment we do not know the international marketing plans for this device. It is then when we could solve doubts like its arrival or not with Google services or if it will change its name when it reaches the European market.
