In this case, we will take advantage of the Google cloud directly to protect the data as much as possible and that nothing is left to chance.
Steps to create a backup on Android
The only thing we have to do to start making our backup on the mobile is in the device settings, without the need to install applications or complex processes. Google has tried to make this as easy as possible and with its 15 GB of free space , linked to each Google account, it protects us in the most complete way possible from not losing anything.
- First we enter the mobile Settings.
- We locate the section called System.
- Then we access Backup.
- And finally we touch on Create backup now.
We can do this whenever we want to manually, although to make the automatic backup on Android we just have to touch the upper option where it says “Backup in Drive”. Automatically the device will be occupied approximately every 2 days, depending on whether we save contacts, new WiFi keys or make other adjustments. This, however, does not free us from having problems with backups on Android and to be sure not to lose anything, before changing mobile it is better to make a copy manually.
What is saved in the Android backup
We ourselves can check tornado on the section called “Backup of …” the data that is stored in the backup that we have created or that is done automatically. As we show you in the images, here we will see the date on which the copy of the mobile was made and its different sections , so that we are sure not to lose anything. - Events and Google Calendar settings
- SMS text messages (not MMS)
- Passwords and Wi-Fi networks
- Wallpapers
- Gmail Settings
- List of applications (not installation files)
- Display settings (brightness and sleep)
- Language settings and text input
- Date and Time
- Settings and information for applications not designed by Google (varies depending on the application)
How to save everything else?
For the rest of the files or documents that are left out of the backup , we would only have to opt for Google Drive, which shares space with the Google backup that we have previously made. With each of the files that we want to keep safe even when changing mobile or in the event of any incident, we must do this:
- We access Google Drive.
- We touch at the bottom on Files to create a folder and then on the “+” button.
- Now we choose Upload.
- And finally we choose the files, images or other elements that we want to protect.
