In general, our mobiles usually have a good number of system apps that, most of us, we do not usually use. However, this software can help us do things that we would initially think are quite difficult to do with a phone. A perfect example of this is the ability to create your own ringtones on your Huawei mobile in the blink of an eye.
Long ago, to create our own mobile melodies or personalized ringtones we had to resort to a PC and a sound diction program or, more recently, to third-party apps that allowed us to shorten the duration of a song. The Huawei Music App makes this process much easier by allowing us to choose any song that we have stored on the phone or that we listen to in streaming and turn it into the ringtone or notification of the smartphone.
Edit songs and set them as a ringtone on your mobile
The ringtones that are installed by default in our mobile by default are, to say it with all the respect in the world, horrible. If you also think that the sound catalog of your Huawei is anything but striking, you can always make use of the ringtone creator that is hidden in the EMUI Music app .
Simply download the music you like, either from any download service or by transferring it to the mobile memory from a computer and, from the file manager, select “Open with …” and select the Huawei Music application. Once inside, in addition to listening to the chosen song, you can find a small bell icon. Tap the bell icon and you can define your own ringtone.
When you execute this option, you will see a timeline that tells you the duration of your personalized ringtone for your mobile , being able to lengthen or shorten it and, when scrolling over it, choose the beginning and the end. After doing so, click on the Set as ringtone button and choose the SIM card you want to work on. As you will see, the best of all is that you can set 2 different ringtones for the 2 SIM cards you have.
Also, if you want, you can not only create your own ringtone for calls, but you can also configure it for notifications or even for the phone alarm. The last option allows you to save it in case you want to continue creating more custom tones on your Huawei .
