Surely you have found yourself in the position of wanting to take a picture and not being able to iPhone. This can happen for example when we put the mobile on a tripod to make a very professional instantaneous. If there is no one in the room to press on the shutter icon, we can either set a timer or use our Apple Watch to see the frame and take the picture.
Capture a photo with your iPhone thanks to the Apple Watch
As we have said, we can perfectly put a timer on the iPhone camera to take the picture in a few seconds. But the problem with this is that we cannot make a good framing of the photograph since we would throw it blindly. This can be easily solved if we have an Apple Watch on our wrist. With this we can connect to the iPhone camera and see the scene as well as the different options to take a picture or video.
If you want to access this function, you simply have to have the Apple Watch and iPhone linked and follow the following steps:
- Click on the digital crown on the side, and click on the ‘Camera’ application.
- The application will open on our iPhone automatically, and the Apple Watch will show what the lens is capturing.
- We can click on the scene to establish a focal point.
- At the bottom we will have the normal shutter button that we have on the iPhone. We can set a timer by clicking on the button marked ‘3s’. If you want to make the video recording you simply have to press and hold the shutter.
But this is not here, since we can also use the Apple Watch to make a change in the flash or the HDR. You just have to press several seconds on the screen of our Apple Watch. When doing this we will see the possibility of turning the camera, activate the HDR, the flash and also deactivate the ‘Live’ mode.
For us this integration functionality between both teams is quite interesting. It is not necessary to have someone in a room to take a good picture for our Instagram account, or to make a video for our YouTube channel. Little by little we see how the iPhone is becoming a photographic equipment of quite quality and that is why we are not surprised by this feature and that little by little it will be better known.
