Setting up and optimizing a graphics card can seem like a very simple task. Thanks to programs, such as GeForce Experience , it is possible to automatically adjust the graphics of the games according to our computer to obtain the best possible performance and quality. However, the options offered by this program are very limited. These are basically summarized in the same options that we can find within the game. Therefore, if we want to have more control over all the parameters, we must resort to other advanced tools.
The NVIDIA Control Panel
The first of the tools to configure and control the computer graphics is none other than the graphics control panel that is installed together with the drivers. This tool will allow us to configure a series of independent parameters and settings that are not related to specific games.
For example, from this panel we can adjust the screen resolution and the refresh rate, activate the G-Sync, or configure the general 3D settings (or specific, for specific programs) to define how we want the graph to work.

Advanced control over the GPU, overclocking and much more
The NVIDIA Inspector is a program with which we will be able to have almost absolute control over our NVIDIA graphics card. With it we will be able, for example, to see all the information about the card that we have installed in the computer, overclock it to improve its performance, and even control, in real time, its performance and status.
Its interface is similar to that of other programs, such as CPU-Z or GPU-Z, but it has an additional section from which we will be able to configure everything related to the OC . We can also open a performance monitor with which to control the status of the GPU, as well as its temperature, to avoid surprises.
And, in addition, we have another very interesting program, called NVIDIA Profile Inspector , which is open source, with which we will be able to create and customize the profiles for the games or programs that we have installed.
Thanks to this program we will be able to have a very extensive control over the different aspects that influence the performance of the game. It has a game database large enough to be able to select the one we want from a list, or also add the executables that we want in case of not finding our game or program.
We can adjust, similar to how we can with the NVIDIA Control Panel , the behavior of antialiasing, the way we want to deal with textures, limit FPS and much more. A much more extensive control for those looking to control everything and squeeze every last frame without complications.
And, best of all, is the possibility of exporting the profiles and being able to share them with friends over the Internet.
