Hasn’t it happened to you on more than one occasion that you would like to play a game with a friend but you can’t because it doesn’t have that game in its library? That’s probably what many may have thought after playing Ghost Rescue : Breakpoint’s free weekend, an open-world game with tons of strategic action that sadly ended its free period today. What if we tell you that you will be able to continue playing for free?
The Friend Pass arrives
The idea is that you can continue playing Ghost Reacon Breakpoint whenever and when a friend of yours has the game. If, on the other hand, you already have the game, you can send invitations to a total of 3 friends so they can join the game and play without problems. But how exactly does this work?
Those who do not have the game will only have to download the free version that is already available on the official Ubisoft website. Whether it is the PS4, Xbox One or PC version, players will be able to install the entire game, with the peculiarity of having a six-hour countdown that will limit the time of use of the game.

But this is where the Friend Pass comes into play, since, with an invitation, the timer that counts the hours of play will be paused as long as you access it through your friend’s invitation. Of course, when playing cooperatively from PS4 or Xbox One, you will need, as usual in online gaming, a subscription to PS Plus or Xbox Live respectively.
Free for a few months
Even so, the Friend Pass will expire, since Ubisoft has confirmed that the game pass between friends will only be available until June 16, at which time, in case they want to continue playing, players will have to buy the game in full to continue the game.
