According to Google, the Kids Space mode complements and perfects the Family Link system, which allows parents to control their children’s experiences, establishing time limits and privacy controls, among others.

According to Google, Kids Space is designed for children to become explorers. “By selecting their interests, your children will see new and engaging content to read, play, and create. Kids can even personalize their experience by creating their own character, ”Brooks said.

Google Kids Space will have more than 400 free books available, as well as access to YouTube Kids videos that encourage creative activities.

To access the system, you need a Google account. Additionally, book content requires the Play Books app, video content is subject to the availability of the YouTube Kids app.

Parental controls require the Family Link app on a compatible Android, Chromebook, or iOS device.
