If we are forced to start Windows in safe mode, we must carry out a series of steps through the different Windows menus to be able to access that option, an option that, for an unknown reason, is hidden within the system and is which is not easy to get to since with the release of Windows 10, Microsoft removed the ability to start the computer in safe mode from the loading screen by pressing the F8 key. What is clear is that Microsoft does not seem to like that we access this version of Windows, even though, on occasions, it is the only option to be able to fix a Windows malfunction.

The solution to this problem, once again, is to use one of the different third-party applications that solve this problem and that make it much easier to access Windows safe mode without having to lose ourselves in Windows or remember to press the key Shift when clicking on the Restart button. Thanks to the Safe Mode Launcher application, in just 3 clicks we can start the computer in safe mode.
Safe Mode Launcher is a completely free application that we can download through this link, an application that, in addition to starting Windows in safe mode, also offers us the same boot options that we can find from Windows, such as the possibility of starting with networking or only with command prompt. In addition, it also allows us to enable the Windows boot menu when starting to be able to select this option when we want or to restore the operation of the F8 key again so that it shows the Windows boot menu as it did until the arrival of Windows 10.

To start in safe mode, we just have to check the Safe mode box and click on Apply options . The next time we reboot, only the next time, the computer will enter safe mode. When we exit safe mode by restarting the computer, it will start again as it normally does.
But in addition to the options that the application shows us on its main page, we click on the Menu button, we can also access many options such as starting the computer in repair mode, activating the hidden administrator account, starting Msconfig (to modify the boot) and the Bcdedit console (command line tool to modify Windows boot).

This application enables compatibility with MSI applications in safe mode , so we will be able to remove any application installed through this distribution route without problems, since, natively, Windows does not offer support in safe mode.
This application is compatible from Windows Vista onwards and is available in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. The application is translated into Spanish for the most part, so we will not have any problem when interacting with the application among the basic options.
