Do not answer calls from the number 961125533

Of the many ways scammers trick their victims, the phone scam is still one of the most common today. The fact that we only have a voice on the other side as a reference can facilitate situations of identity theft and that we end up falling into some kind of deception like the one that the person on the other end of the telephone number 961125533 intends to do.

If you have received a call from 961125533, you will already know that it is a dangerous number that even the police have warned about. If you have not received it, we are going to tell you why you should not even answer the call.

Who calls from 961125533?

As on other occasions we have reported on our site, there are numbers suspected of carrying out identity theft scams and this is one of them. They usually pose as telecommunications companies under the false premise of trying to improve your rate. What they are really trying to do is get hold of personal data that they can resell or directly obtain some type of bank information.

They generally pretend to be Vodafone , although the red operator denies that it is a number of them.

«They just called from this number posing as Vodafone to reduce my rate. They say they have a financial agreement with MásMóvil and they call me to ask me to pay less. They ask me how much I pay. He himself already tells me «More than 60 euros?», I tell him «No, no, no; less”. He asks again “How much, then?” and I answer less than 60. And he hangs up. Once again I have passed this scam to Vodafone and I have posted it on social networks. Too bad I didn’t have time to record it to publish it.

«They claim to be from Vodafone with an offer to reduce the price of calls. It is a lie, Vodafone does not recognize this number as yours, apart from the fact that they call at night.

“They don’t really belong to Vodafone or the electricity company they claim to be. They are fraudulent calls trying to get personal information, perhaps for some scam.

“BEWARE SCAMMERS!!! They pose as phone providers and others to get hold of your personal and bank details and scam or outright rob you.”

@hectoroto92 We just reviewed our lists and that numbering does not belong to our official trading platforms. Do you know The Robinson List? Helps reduce commercial calls.

How to avoid these calls?

As it is not a real commercial call, even if we sign up for the Robinson List, we would probably still receive it (although if it were real, we already know that a call of this type could also end up coming to you). Taking this into account, it is best to choose to block the number preventively to avoid taking it in the future if you have already forgotten our warning.

Números SPAM peligrosos

The first step is by the traditional method, enter the call list, open the options panel and block the number . You can also use some of the applications that help you identify calls and block suspicious numbers, such as Mr. Number, Hiya, CallBlocker, TrueCaller or Pepeescudo. These applications will not only allow you to have greater control over the numbers you have blocked, but also give you some peace of mind by identifying the incoming call and displaying an alert on the screen in case it is a suspicious number like this 961125533.
