Summer and beach are words that have always gone hand in hand. However, in recent times the mobile has joined, as an inseparable companion of practically all users when it comes to escaping to enjoy the sun, sand and water. But, is it recommended to take your mobile to the beach? If we reflect deeply on the issue, the balance is clearly tilted towards NO.
The mobile is a gadget that we cannot leave at home. Apart from multi-media entertainment, it is a fundamental element of communication, and we have an urgent need to be located and to be able to locate others. But going to the beach is not the same as getting lost on a route through the mountains. If we want to watch over our terminal, perhaps the best thing would be to leave it at home.
The enemies of our mobile on the beach
Sun
It is possibly the greatest enemy and the one that most spoils during these dates. The normal temperature of our device should be around 30 degrees. We may not notice it on the first day, but after a full summer exposed to these phenomena, our mobile phone could suffer the consequences.
The sand
Whatever you do the mobile will end with sand. It does not matter if it is stored in the beach bag or we put it on the towel. Sand is a danger for our mobile phone , since it can get into connectors such as the charging port or the headphone jack, causing irreparable failures, since sometimes the sand contains more moisture than is recommended.
The thefts
Every year, the police stations next to the beaches are filled with reports of theft. Taking the mobile phone to the water is not recommended, but leaving it alone in the towel or bag. It is another reason why it does not pay to take your phone to the beach. Even leaving it in the car is inadvisable , since it is another claim for lovers of the alien.
Socialize?
The beach has always been a place to play cards, parcheesi, shovels or make castles with the little ones. At Amazon we have options and for 20 or 30 euros we can be operational without having to take our main mobile to the beach. If it is lost or damaged, it will not hurt as much as it does with our brand new first mobile.

A smartwatch can be the solution, as long as you have the option of introducing our SIM card to be able to make and receive calls . In this way we will not have to take our mobile to the beach but we will be fully connected.
Rugged mobile
We can choose to buy an all-terrain mobile , which is resistant to all enemies such as water, sand or the sun. In this case we need an IP68 terminal or one with some kind of military grade of resistance. In this way we can take it to the beach without fear of damage, but we will continue to be exposed to theft and social exclusion that we have mentioned above.
