How to customize the sound and vibration of Samsung Galaxy phones

For example, in the Samsung Galaxy we not only find different customizable facets, but its motor allows us to change even the intensity with which the phone vibrates. Therefore, we are going to see each of the points that we will find in the Sound and vibration section that every mobile of the Korean company has among its settings.

Set your vibration

Choose your intensity

One of the strengths of the Samsung Galaxy is the vibration motor of the smartphone , thanks to it we can choose which intensity is the one that best suits our needs. And, best of all, is the ease with which we can get to modify it. We will only have to follow a few steps:

1. Access your phone’s settings.
2. Enter the Sounds and vibration section.
3. Click on the Vibration intensity option.

Once inside, you will find three possible options: Incoming call, Notifications and Touch interaction. To test which is the exact measurement you need, you just have to slide from left to right or the other way around the bar of each option that will appear on the screen.

When it rings

If we want that at all times we have the possibility that the smartphone vibrates, even when the audio is enabled, we can achieve it in the following way:

1. Go to mobile settings> Sounds and vibration.
2. Turn on the Vibrate switch while ringing .

In this way, every time the mobile notifies us of a notification or calls us, the smartphone will vibrate.

With interactions

The interaction with the mobile is inevitable, since we are continuously touching the different elements that appear on the screen. However, we may not always like that the terminal ‘shakes’ every time we click, for example, on an application. Therefore, you can always change it by following these steps:

1. Go to settings> Sounds and vibration.
2. Swipe to see more options and tap on System sound and vibration .

Inside, we will see a section only on Vibration . In it we find different options: Touch interactions, Navigation gestures, Load, Samsung keyboard and Camera response. Therefore, here it will depend on the tastes of each user and their needs.

Adjusts the rhythm of the pattern

Not only can we change the intensity as we would see previously, but we can also adjust the rhythm that it will follow once it begins to vibrate. One UI offers us different options, both for the pattern when receiving calls and for notifications. If you want to choose the one you like the most, you just have to follow the following process:

1. Settings> Sounds and vibration.
2. Inside, you will have the sections of Call vibration pattern and Notification vibration pattern .

If we click on each of these sections, we will find different options inside it to be able to apply a different effect with this function. Of course, you will have to make sure that the Sound mode is enabled, as well as the Vibrate while it sounds switch for it to work.

Adjust the audio

Not everything in a phone will be like ‘shakes’ every time we are called, we are writing or we receive an alert on the terminal. Rather, the audio of the phone will be more fundamental, and not only for all these previous points that we have, but the audio that our Samsung Galaxy phone has when any type of song or video sounds will be key.

Select the mode

Within the settings themselves and the Sound and vibration section, we find ourselves before us the first choice that we must make: the Sound Mode. Among the possibilities offered by smartphones with One UI we find three options:

• Sound
• Vibrate
• Silence .

In this case, we must activate the Samsung Sound mode so that the configuration we make of the rest of the possibilities that we see below come to work, since it will not help us to adjust the following options if we always keep it silent.

Notifications and interactions

As in the previous case, we can configure the audios of the system we want to have activated or deactivated in our Samsung Galaxy phones. To do this, we will have to re-enter the Sound and vibration section of the system, which we saw earlier, and choose between the following options:

• Touch interactions.
• Screen lock / unlock.
• Carry.
• Samsung keyboard.

We even have the option to change the audio itself of the interactions we have with the smartphone: Settings> Sound and vibration> System sound. Inside, you can choose between Galaxy , Calm , Fun, and Retro .

In addition, they will not be the only possibilities that we will have for the mobile audio, but we can configure the notifications that we are going to receive. Although this option is one of the most classic that we find in every terminal. To change it, we will have to follow these steps: Settings> Sounds and vibration> Notification sound. When you are inside, you just have to choose the one you like the most.

The effects

Not only will the audio that the smartphone has every time we call or receive a text message will be important, but it will also be key how it sounds every time we listen to a song or we are watching a movie from our Galaxy. Therefore, it is important to customize the equalizer that is built into these Samsung smartphones.

Once again, we will have to access the Sound and vibration section within its settings, and then enter the Quality and effects section. Within this we find different key elements: Dolby Atmos , Dolby Atmos for games , Equalizer and Adapt Sound .

If we enable the first two options, we will be able to greatly improve the audio of our Samsung Galaxy phone, achieving a next-generation audio experience when playing both multimedia content and games. On the other hand, if we click on the Equalizer , we will enter another world, in which we will have these options: Normal, Pop, Classic, Jazz, Rock and Customize. With the latter it is with which we can play more with the audio of the Samsung phone.

Finally, Adapt Sound is a technology with which we can take better care of our ears. Therefore, if we click on this section we will find the following options:

• Disabled (no optimization).
• Less than 30 years of age.
• 30 to 60 years old.
• Over 60 years old.
