In recent years Android phones have been increasing the size of their batteries, to offer some with a huge size, in fact we are seeing phones with some up to 7000mAh. A good example are these two phones that we face today, the Redmi 9 Power and Moto G9 Power , two terminals with a 6000mAh battery.
This week Redmi has presented its latest phone, a mobile that stands out for its great battery compared to the standard Redmi , and that also improves other aspects such as the camera or the processor.
Screen and dimensions
We are facing two phones with different sizes, the Redmi 9 Power with a 6.53-inch screen with Full HD + resolution and notch in the shape of a drop of water.

The Moto G9 Power for its part has a larger screen, 6.8 inches , but less resolution, being HD + , and has a hole in the corner. Regarding the dimensions, this Redmi is more compact, with dimensions of 162.3 x 77.3 x 9.6 mm and a weight of 198 grams. The Motorola is larger and heavier, with dimensions of 172.1 x 76.8 x 9.7 mm and 221 grams.

Performance
We are facing two phones with the same processor, it is the powerful mid-range Snapdragon 662 . The Redmi can integrate up to 4GB of RAM and between 64GB and 128GB of storage.

For its part, Motorola offers up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In both cases expandable by microSD cards.
Photo camera
We are facing two phones with good cameras, in the case of the Redmi it is quadruple, with a 48 megapixel sensor, 8 megapixel ultra wide angle, 2 megapixel macro and 2 megapixel depth.

The bike has a triple camera, with 64 megapixel, 2 megapixel macro and 2 megapixel depth sensors. Up front, the Redmi has an 8-megapixel camera, while the Moto has a 16-megapixel one.

Battery, connectivity and software
And we come to the most prominent aspect of both phones, which is the battery. Both have a 6000mAh , in the case of Redmi with 18W load and in Moto with 20W.

Both have Bluetooth 5.0, as well as Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac, FM Radio and USB type C connector. For its part, the Motorola has NFC connectivity to make mobile payments. The software they both have is Android 10, under MIUI 12 in the case of the Redmi and the almost pure layer of the Motorola.
Price and conclusion
We are facing a phone, the Redmi 9 Power, which is not currently sold in Spain, but where it is sold has a price of around 140 euros. And another, the Motorola Moto G9 Power, which we can buy in the official store of the brand in Spain for 229 euros. For this price, of course, the Redmi seems a better choice .
Because it is a phone that offers a higher resolution screen , the same performance, a quad camera and a battery that is as capable as the Motorola, for much less money. In its favor, the Motorola has a camera with higher resolution, and the NFC. Therefore, in the absence of the Redmi arriving in Spain in the future, and knowing its final price, a priori it would be a better purchase, although we will have to be attentive to the evolution of the Moto, especially in promotions.
