In which cases do you need to restore the HomePod mini?

Restore with Mac
The HomePod mini includes a unique restore system that is not found on the larger regular HomePod. Specifically, the HomePod mini can be connected to the Mac to be able to perform the reset as if it were an iPhone. This has been achieved thanks to the new port that has been included in the speaker and the USB-C cable that is included in the pack itself. Specifically, you must follow the following steps to restore it:
- Plug the HomePod mini into the Mac via the cable.

Using the Home app

- Plug it back in.
- Press and hold the top of HomePod mini with your finger.

- The moment you hear the HomePod mini beep three times, you can remove your finger.
