Comparison of Realme X3 vs. Realme X2

Two phones that differ quite a bit, and some of these differences are not well understood. But we are going to review them to see to what extent one model improves the other.

Screen and dimensions

Here we find the first important differences, starting with the size of the screen, which is larger in the new Realme X3, which has a 6.6-inch and has Full HD + resolution , it also has a huge 120Hz refresh rate , something very differential. It also has a double screen hole, in the shape of a pill.

For its part, the Realme X2 offers us a somewhat smaller screen, with a notch in the form of a drop of water, there is no special refresh rate, but in its favor it does have a Super AMOLED screen, somewhat smaller than 6.4 inches and with Full HD + resolution. This also has a fingerprint reader on the screen , so each of these screens has points in its favor.

Both have a USB type connector, bluetooth 5.0, NFC connectivity to make mobile payments, and only in the case of the X3 the fingerprint reader is integrated on the side, on the power button, and not on the screen as in the case of the X2. Regarding software, the new X3 comes with Realme UI based on Android 10 , while the X2 did with Android 9, but it has already been updated to version 10.

Price and conclusion

Keep in mind that the Realme X3 is not for sale in Spain yet, it was presented this week in India, although its price there has been around 300 or 350 euros . In the case of the X2 it has moved at that price, and now it is difficult to find it in Spain.

If we compare characteristics, it is evident that the X3 wins the game in power, refresh rate, cameras and partly the battery. The only aspect the X2 stands out for is its Super AMOLED display with on-screen fingerprint reader. Therefore, the X3 is a great evolution , but not so much for some specific aspects in which it disappoints a bit and represents a setback.
