Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Classic Game for Android and iOS Phones

Konami has released Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, one of the important games in the saga. For some a change of schemes with respect to previous deliveries, influenced by Metroid and, in turn, influential for many other games that came later. Now, you can play it on both iOS and Android.

From the 1997 classic to the mobile version

Castlevania
Konami has released a new version of one of his most important games, Castlevania. To be more specific, the game is a version of that Castlevania: Symphony of the Night that was released in 1997 for the PlayStation, Sega Saturn and PSP (Sony portable console) consoles. Although years later there were other versions for new platforms such as the PlayStation 4. On this occasion, the new proposal for iOS and Android mobile devices seems to be based on the PSP and PS4 versions.

With some very classic and striking graphics, this title proposes a role-playing game, exploration and action where you will have to jump, run and make your way among the enemies that appear. The best thing is that, in addition to being a very graphically achieved game, some new features have been introduced that are very attractive to play on smartphones or tablets.

Castlevania SoTN

The first is support for game controls. If you have a gamepad compatible with your device , for example those of PlayStation or Xbox, you will be able to use it to play this new Castlevania. And eye, for quick games the touch controls will be what you use, but to play comfortably and quietly at home, even taking the video signal to a larger screen, the use of a gamepad will completely change the experience.

The other novelty is the possibility of continuing the game where you left it. A “continuous save” that also makes it much easier to advance the game’s history without having to start from scratch.

After the defeat of Richter Belmont of Count Dracula, the vampire hunter disappears without a trace. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night takes players to a story five years later, this time as Alucard, Dracula’s son. To purge the world of its own cursed bloodline, Alucard tries to repress his vampiric powers and enter into what must be an eternal dream. However, without Belmonts assaulting the castle and addressing evil in his homeland, Alucard wakes up from his self-induced dream and decides to investigate what happened during his dream.

With all this, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for mobile looks great and has no exorbitant price. Both the Play Store (Android) and the App Store (iOS) can be found for 3.49 euros . Oh, and without integrated purchases of any kind. Which is also much appreciated.

So you know, if you did not play it in your day or you seem to play one of the games that, for many, was a change of record regarding what they were used to playing in previous versions, go ahead.

Castlevania returns to Netflix on March 5

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is also a good way to encourage the return of the animated series to Netflix. And, if months ago we knew that the series would return to Netflix this year, now you can prepare for its premiere tomorrow, March 5 .

In this third season, not only will the history of well-known characters continue to be deepened, new ones are also introduced and that seems to have been one of the things that people who have been able to see it have already liked the most. Moreover, they claim that of the three seasons, this will be the best without a doubt.

If this is the case or not, it must be checked from tomorrow. The first two seasons were very good, so overcoming that bar will not be easy. But that said, tomorrow you can leave doubts if you like the series. And if you didn’t know her, or if you didn’t know the games (something strange), we recommend you give it a try.
