Even so, it is still a matter of concern and the DGT has decided to take action on the matter so that the number of annual claims decreases considerably. For this reason and given the increase in restrictions around this issue, users are wondering if using Android Auto while driving is a reason for a fine.
Be careful where you touch
The General Directorate of Traffic does not want any hesitation regarding accidents caused by possible distractions when using the telephone. Through the Law on Traffic, Circulation of Motor Vehicles and Security we can infer that touching the car monitor to access the application of the American company is completely punishable .
It should be noted that it is not specifically marked, but article 76 concludes that the simple fact of manually controlling any type of device similar to a smartphone can lead to a fine.
