ASUS Introduces New ASUS PCE-AXE58BT Card with WiFi 6E

The manufacturer ASUS has launched a new card that supports the Wi-Fi 6E standard. In this article we have thoroughly analyzed the ASUS PCE-AX58BT Wi-Fi card, a WiFi 6 card with a PCIe interface that allows us to achieve up to 2,400Mbps in the 5GHz band thanks to 160MHz of channel width, and up to 574Mbps in the 2.4GHz band thanks to WiFi 6. The new model has exactly the same technical specifications as the previous model, but now incorporates support for the new 6GHz frequency band, as well as incorporating an improved version of Bluetooth. Do you want to know all the details of this new WiFi card?

Features of the ASUS PCE-AXE58BT with Wi-Fi 6E

The main features of this new ASUS PCE-AXE58BT PCIe card are that it incorporates Wi-Fi connectivity with selectable dual-band and Wi-Fi 6E . We must remember that the new WiFi 6E standard incorporates all the technologies and improvements of WiFi 6, but incorporates support for a frequency band located in the 6GHz band, therefore, we will have new WiFi channels to avoid interference with other WiFi networks. By having a greater number of channels, we can have more access points and routers broadcasting on channels that do not overlap, a problem that usually occurs with Wi-Fi 6 and WiFi 5. In addition, we must bear in mind that WiFi 6E incorporates BSS Coloring, a technology capable of avoiding interference when we have multiple WiFi networks around us. ASUS Introduces New ASUS PCE-AXE58BT Card

This Wi-Fi card integrates the new Intel AX210 inside, but it has a metal heatsink so that absolutely nothing heats up, in addition, we also have external antennas with an antenna base, in order to achieve the best coverage and speed possible.

This new ASUS PCE-AXE58BT will allow us to achieve a speed of up to 574Mbps in the 2.4GHz band , thanks to its two external antennas in MU-MIMO 2T2R configuration, at 40MHz channel width and the Wi-Fi 6 standard with 1024QAM . Regarding the 5GHz and 6GHz band , we can achieve a speed of up to 2.402Mbps thanks to its two external antennas in MU-MIMO 2T2R configuration and the use of 160MHz of channel width together with Wi-Fi 6E . Thanks to the support for the new 6GHz band, we will be able to put 160MHz channel widths in our router without fear of occupying the entire frequency band, therefore, we will have a higher performance since we will not have interference with other WiFi networks.

This card has a PCIe interface, and incorporates all the technologies of the WiFi 6E such as, for example, Beamforming to focus the wireless signal of the main router, MU-MIMO to be able to send data to the router and receive it together with other wireless clients, and optimize globally the WiFi network. Finally, this model also has OFDMA , totally necessary to have a greater capacity and optimize data transfer when we have dozens of simultaneous clients connected to the same WiFi router. The incorporation of a Wi-Fi base with the external antennas will allow us to achieve the best possible signal reception, although we must bear in mind that it is not mandatory to use it. The antennas are external, dual, omnidirectional and with an RP-SMA connector, just like other ASUS cards.

Finally, this new WiFi card has Bluetooth 5.2, to provide our desktop computer with the possibility of connecting the smartphone, tablet, wireless headphones or any device that uses Bluetooth.
