Microworlds Criticism

Labeling something, anything, as “the best” is really complex. And it is because there is no absolute truth about something as subjective as opinions and in this case it was not going to be less. A server cannot say categorically that this is the best documentary on the Apple platform, but I can say that it is in my opinion. To argue this claim, I could use a lot of verbiage that in no case would be more effective than recommending watching a few minutes of any of the Microworlds episodes.

On a technical level there is an impressive complexity and although while watching the episodes we forget ourselves, whoever understands something about productions of this type will realize the high caliber that we find. Getting to show what is shown in this documentary series and the way they do it is simply amazing. Having such a high stabilization and visual quality when recording specimens that sometimes do not exceed 10 centimeters in length seems a savagery, but the professionals behind this production have achieved it.

Even some of the stories that are told seem worthy of science fiction. Obviously the narrative will have been adapted to the recorded material, but it is still impressive that some scenes occur at just a certain moment and can be captured the way it is captured. We do not know if any of these would be caused or not, but surely it is understood that the cameras spent many hours in front to obtain the final result.

The transitions and other more or less natural effects that we observe are already an Apple quality seal. Anyone who has been able to follow the broadcasts of company events in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic and has seen this documentary series will find many similarities in these terms. Casas Vanguardistas or Becoming You are category documentaries with the story that are told, but in my opinion Micromundos far exceeds them in visual effects. It is a piece that enters through the eyes, but the story also accompanies it, so you cannot ask for more. Special mention to the voice actor in Spain, Claudio Serrano, who despite his unmistakable Batman voice manages to delve into the story and the time we are in front of the screen is even more pleasant.
