Although the doubt was on the minds of all Apple media and analysts, yesterday should have been the announcement of an event for the company for the 23rd. The guru Jon Prosser had predicted it to the point. to bet his own eyebrows. However, there was no announcement, although this does not mean that Apple is not about to launch new products to the market in one way or another. When, how and what will it launch? We analyze these possibilities.

The celebration of an event is not yet ruled out
Prosser stated that on the 23rd an online event would be held like the ones that the Cupertino company had been holding in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In view of what the company usually does by announcing them 7 days before, the 16th (yesterday) was the key day for the announcement to occur. However, there are two other hypotheses on the table that would still leave the idea of the retransmission of this keynote in suspense: that the company announces it later than usual and it remains on March 23 is an option. The other is that the event is another day this month or even the beginning of April and they announce it to us later. Bets are allowed in both cases.

What if there is a week full of releases?
If we take into account that of the products that Apple plans to launch, none is relevant enough to be the star of an event, the idea of it being held is very unlikely. In fact, many of these products have been launched in other years through a “simple” press release without having to take them to an event with great fanfare, so it would not be a surprise either.
If we take a look at 2019, we can remember how for a week Apple was launching numerous products on different days and all of them through press releases. The iPad mini with Apple Pencil compatibility, second-generation AirPods, seventh-generation iPod touch, new MacBooks… So why wouldn’t Apple do the same in 2021?
We remember that in the arena are the iPad Pro 2021, the long-awaited AirTags, a new sixth-generation Apple TV or third-generation AirPods. Of course, it is said about the latter that they may not arrive until the end of the year due to last minute changes. In any case, who knows if there would be any more surprises like the expected iMac with ARM chips designed by Apple itself.

Be that as it may, at the time this news was published we still have no news from Apple. The company remains silent about its upcoming releases, something that is always customary until the very moment it announces them. Neither have they talked about an event and although it is up to the media to keep an eye on it, it seems that the possibilities are being reduced little by little.
