Last March, we were able to enjoy after many weeks of rumors about the arrival of the Xiaomi Mi Band 6. But now, it is the turn to talk about its natural predecessor, the Mi Band 7 . However, we could not count on great differences between this model and previous versions, something that could be noticed when changing from an older one to this model.
The great novelties of the Mi Band 5 went through a new charging system, PAI measurement, measurement of the stress level and the woman’s menstrual cycle, the remote control of the shutter to take photos through the phone and, incomprehensibly, a worse battery. Something that was repeated in the same way in its successor. For this reason, we hope that the Asian brand will take note of what users expect to find in the future smart bracelet of the brand. In addition to not repeating with the different problems that have occurred in the previous model.
More screen and better battery
In the previous model we noticed a significant improvement in its panel, since it has a 1.56-inch AMOLED screen, 450 nits like its predecessor, with glass with an anti-fingerprint coating. The problem is, and that many users have noticed, as the mark of the fingerprints are still being noticed in large numbers and they hope that the next generation of Mi Band will have a little more screen and brightness.

But, without a doubt, what is really expected is that we can have a battery that really delivers . That is, autonomy is not one of its strengths since, despite continuing to increase the quality of its panel, the battery has not been a good companion. Therefore, every user of this Xiaomi wearable hopes that this section will have a notable improvement for the next generation.
Google Assistant and NFC integration?
For another year, we have come to our country without any virtual assistant. Despite the great success that both Alexa and Google Assistant are having in Spain on different devices. Therefore, having this feature in the Xiaomi smart bracelet would encourage more users to get hold of it.
And we cannot forget the NFC , one of the pending aspects that the Asian brand always leaves to fulfill in the versions of its global bracelets. With Mi Band 6 they also did nothing about it, so we can only wait to see if they take us into account in the next model of their wearable and we can enjoy NFC payments.
