The Ultimate Xiaomi Plug
In May, Xiaomi decided to launch a power bank that served as a transformer for charging equipment as well. It was a relatively compact model in white with a USB-C connector, another USB-A and with an internal battery (there was the grace) of 6,700 mAh capable of charging with a power of 18W.
Now the firm returns to the fray but does so using one of the brands that operate under its umbrella, ZMI. Through it, the manufacturer is now betting on a black model practically the same in design as its brother (the measurements are the same: 77.6 x 73.3 x 31.6 mm) and with the same 6,700 mAh unit inside and load power. It has two USB ports, one with a maximum output of 27 W of power and the other of 45 W, and it has a retractable system for the power outlet, so that when you put it away everything is much more collected (in addition to protecting better this area).
A very useful and practical solution that becomes the perfect solution to carry two devices in one: a portable battery for when we do not have a plug nearby and a transformer precisely for when we need to give the dose of energy that you need to the gadget on duty.
Availability and price of the Power Bank-plug
As with the white version, this new team has so far only been announced in China. The ZMI plug-in power bank is currently being sold on Youpin, where it can already be purchased at a price of 189 yuan (which is about 23 euros at the exchange rate).
Regarding its availability in other markets, its distribution is a real mystery. In the current Xiaomi Spain catalog there are several power banks of different capacities, designs and prices -we leave you one of their most popular options below-, but none have the special feature of being a portable charger and a transformer at the same time. Therefore, including a proposal in the official store outside of China would be really interesting, even more so knowing its adjusted price.
