Although the Amazfit brand has positioned itself as “the signature of Xiaomi watches”, the truth is that the Asian company itself continues to bet much more on its Mi Band activity bracelet than on smartwatches. This could be changing little by little after knowing the existence now of the Mi Watch Lite , a simple model, but with a good multitude of features, which is expected to have a laughable price – what a surprise, eh?
Mi Wacth Lite, everything you need
Despite being a simple watch a priori, the truth is that the Mi Watch Lite has all the features that today can be expected from a smartwatch. Starting with its screen, with a square box format and a 1.4-inch touch panel (320 x 320 pixels) with automatic brightness control, through which you will have access to all its functions -on one side there is also a button physical control.
With it you can, for example, monitor your daily movement (calories, steps, distance) and your sports practice, with up to 11 training modes both indoors and outdoors. It includes control even of your exercise in the pool and resistance to dive up to 50 meters.
It does not forget the GPS-GLONASS positioning systems, to control our rest while we sleep and to offer continuous information of our heart rate 24 hours a day (the data of the last 30 days will also be stored so that you can observe a pattern and especially control any changes). In addition, it comes with a guided breathing function to control the stress level.
Like other watches of this type, the Mi Watch Lite syncs perfectly with your smartphone, so that you can also check the messages that arrive, incoming calls and other notifications on your wrist, in addition to controlling music playback .
As for autonomy, it includes a 230 mAh battery, thanks to which it is capable of holding up to 9 days , according to the manufacturer. When it comes to charging, it requires two hours to be at 100%.
Price and availability of the new Xiaomi watch
Perhaps the benefits of this new Xiaomi watch sound familiar to you and it is still a version based on the existing Redmi Watch that was launched last month in China. This helps us to calculate its price and Xiaomi has not yet given an official label. Even so, taking into account that the aforementioned model costs about 45 dollars to change, we hope that the Mi Watch Lite does not exceed 50 or 60 euros at the most – we will have to see anyway which brand Xiaomi when it launches.
Regarding its availability date, we do not have any specific data at the moment, although the fact that it is already even on the company’s official website, makes us think of an imminent launch.
