The new Mi Band 5 is a similar bracelet to its sister from last year, although it has come with some notable improvements. The one that attracts the most attention is its new 1.1-inch AMOLED screen, which makes it 20% larger than the 0.96-inch panel of its predecessor. This opens up the game to customization differently, especially when modifying the watch faces.
The Mi Band 5 is an ideal companion for our mobile. One of the novelties of the Mi Band 5 that was announced by Xiaomi during its presentation, is that it has support for more than 100 watch faces and that they also have the function of being animated.
Put the animated spheres
In order to change the covers on the Mi Band 5 we will have to start Mi Fit and enter the “Profile” store within the application itself. Once inside we will click on select and synchronize the sphere that we like the most. Once we have synchronized the sphere, we can change it on our bracelet by holding down the screen , to, in this way, enter the selection list that we have. We can move up and down to choose the one we want at that moment and with a single touch we will complete the customization.
A sphere on demand
In the same way, we can choose a design we want, by clicking on the store, Profile of the Mi Band 5. Then we go to the bottom to the Store To Photo Watch Face category. Now we will see five different templates to choose from, with the style number and the background color . This is where we can use a photo that we have in the gallery and put it as a background image. Once chosen, we can make a preview and if we are satisfied we will synchronize the watch face with the bracelet.
Now we will have the new sphere synchronized and to change it, once again we will press and hold the screen of the Mi Band 5 to enter the dialing list. We will move up or down to select the desired one and we will touch on the screen to complete the adjustment.
The third party option
The Mi Band 5 is a popular product, and for this reason many third-party developments arise to be able to customize the dials, either with animated or classic designs. In Google Play we can download some, like the one we leave you just below. M i Band 5 Watch Faces has a large number of designs including by brands, superheroes, video games, movies or sports. We will only have to enter the app, look for the designs that we like and click on download. The application itself will be in charge of opening My Fit, since all the sphere downloads will appear as selectable in the section of our local spheres.
