xCloud Will Come to iOS with its Streaming Game in 2021

Much has been made of the arrival of Microsoft‘s cloud gaming service on Apple‘s iOS devices. And, given the demands of the App Store, no developer can publish an application that offers this type of service, so not even Microsoft itself could do it. However, the giant promised that it would manage to bring its streaming cloud to iOS, and it already has to date.

When will xCloud be playable on the iPhone?

xCloud Will Come to iOS

That’s the question that many Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers have been asking for a long time. The service was officially launched in Spain a few months ago, and its spectacular catalog can now be enjoyed from Android mobile phones. The service has also arrived in Mexico through the Project xCloud preview program, and in the coming months it will also be officially launched.

But, when will it be possible to play from iOS? Well, as Microsoft has pointed out through its official statement, xCloud will reach both Windows PCs and iOS devices from the spring of 2021, so it is very likely that this will happen at the end of the first quarter or early of the second.

xCloud from the browser

In the case of Windows computers, users will be able to access the xCloud catalog through the official Xbox application or through the browser, so the options will be many and the user quota will probably skyrocket from the moment it is available.

It remains to be seen what the solution will be to save the problems found in iOS, but everything indicates that it will be a similar solution based on the browser. With this movement, Microsoft’s cloud game continues to grow at a heart attack speed and with a solidity that other proposals based on streaming would like. But since we always want more here, now we are wondering when we will see the official application for Smart TVs.

The Xbox Game Pass family continues to grow

With that of the family continuing to grow, we are not referring only to the catalog of games. We also refer to the user quota, and is that Microsoft has shared that more than 40% of platform users are taking advantage of the catalog from an Xbox Series S, which reflects the excellent proposal that Microsoft proposed with these two products.

There is still a long way to go, but these figures make very clear the good work of the company in terms of catalog strategy and hardware solution. Who at this point does not buy an Xbox and add Game Pass?
