Which Xiaomi TV model to choose? the best for their quality

Like many other manufacturers, within the Xiaomi Smart TV catalog we find different ranges, series and models to try to adapt to all kinds of needs and tastes.

Xiaomi is a manufacturer that has two very different fronts in the world of smart TVs with its P1 or P1E models and then the Q1 and Q1E models with QLED panels and a more premium design and specifications. Let’s see what each of these Smart TV series offers.

Which Xiaomi TV model to choose

Xiaomi Mi TV Q1: there is no other better

Currently, the Xiaomi Mi TV Q1 is the best Xiaomi has for sale. It is a huge 75-inch television (189 centimeters diagonal) that has a QLED panel installed at 4K resolution and has a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits.

To focus on what really matters, it features a three-part borderless design, allowing you to focus on the image and enjoy an immersive viewing experience. The QLED screen uses nanometer-sized Quantum Dot material to achieve a wider color gamut and display brighter, more vibrant and lifelike images.

Thanks to HDR10+, the viewing experience is superior with a high dynamic range with great brightness, providing exceptional detail in the shadows. Beneath the screen are 384 LEDs in 192 localized zones that independently adjust brightness to enhance color contrast. In addition, the 120 Hz refresh rate with MEMC technology improves low frame rate content. It comes with Android TV.

Q1E: the most economical high-end

One step below we find the Xiaomi Q1E series, which this time has a size of 55 inches. Again, we are talking about a QLED class panel, embraced by a premium design with quite small frames.

It reproduces 97% of the DCI-P3 color space, which offers a higher level of brightness and greater fidelity when reproducing colors. It also features smoothing technologies like MEMC. It is compatible with voice assistants , such as Google’s own, its OS, or Amazon’s Alexa (and this allows you to perform many actions without having to lift a finger). In addition, so that you don’t have to worry about anything, in the sound section there is also good news: the power generated by its speakers reaches 30W and, apart from that, it does not lack compatibility with Dolby and DTS.

P1: Xiaomi’s most popular Smart TV

One of the hallmarks of all Mi TV P1s , whatever their size in inches, is the presence of a bezel-less, borderless tri-frame design for a superior screen-to-body ratio and 178° viewing angles. providing a more immersive and enjoyable viewing experience.

Xiaomi Mi TV P1

This model comes in four different sizes: 55, 50, 43 and 32 inches . The first three have a 4K 3,840 x 2,160 pixel resolution, while the 32-inch is HD at 1,366 x 768 pixels. All four models feature a 60Hz refresh rate. Higher models have support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+.

As for the sound, they all have 10 W + 10 W speakers except for the smallest, which only has 5 W + 5 W. All four models are compatible with Dolby Audio and DTS-HD and have the Android TV operating system installed.

P1E: the cheap mid-range

As in the previous case, the P1 also have somewhat cheaper variants called P1E. The first thing that catches your eye is the design. These models do not have such thin frames , demonstrating from the beginning that we are dealing with cheaper models.

The resolution is still 4K, although the panel they are equipped with is different because the color reproduction worsens. On the P1 we have a 94% reproduction of the DCI-P3 color space, while on the P1E the figure drops to 78% of DCI-P3 . The refresh rate remains at 60 Hz, but we do not have compatibility with the same HDR standards. The P1 plays content with Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and HLG, while the P1E stays with HDR10 and HLG . Of course, both panels are 8-bit + FRC to emulate 10-bit.

All these changes in components, frames and a different panel mean that the TV now weighs 200 grams less . In HDMI ports there are also changes, since only one of the ports is HDMI 2.0, while the other two are 1.4.
