If you grew up with the Where’s Waldo books ? Or you are an unconditional fan of that type of video game in which you must look for a hidden object or character, these three proposals will please you. Three games that you can play both on consoles and PC and even on mobile devices, perfect to end the day or relax while taking a break.
Hidden Through Time

Hidden Through Time is a proposal from a small Belgian studio in which you are going to travel through time through four different eras (Stone Age, Egypt, Middle Ages and the Wild West). In each of these periods you will find different maps and in them you will have to search for the objects and characters that they indicate.
Indeed, as if from the classic Where’s Waldo? concerned. The interesting thing is that being a video game allows extras such as having to interact with objects to find what you should look for. For example, entering the interior of a house or shack, opening a chest, etc.
With a great setting, the gaming experience is much more fun and rewarding, making it a perfect game for those relaxing moments. Although many fans of this type of games what they will really appreciate will be their level editor .
Take advantage of all the objects and build your own scenarios. Thanks to that, the game becomes practically infinite. Which will be a challenge for you to demonstrate how good you are creating new levels and for other players finding those objects.
Download Hidden Through Time for the following platforms:
Available for different platforms, from consoles to a computer at a price of 7.99 euros and on mobile devices for 2.99 euros , it is a game that you and the little ones at home will surely enjoy.
Hidden Folks

If Hidden Through Time had to be inspired by a game, it would surely have been Hidden Folks . In this video game the mechanics are the same, but with the difference that their graphics are monochrome. Along with three different display options: black and white, sepia and a night mode for when you want to play it in low light, it is a game that is also very much enjoyed due to how relaxed it is.
Of course, being pleasing to the eye and relaxing does not mean being easy. What’s more, there are quite complete and extensive levels, so you will have to scroll and zoom to find the different objects that they indicate. In total, over 25 hand-drawn areas and over 250 things to find.
You can download Hidden Folks at:
- Nintendo Switch (11.99 euros)
- Steam (7.99 euros)
- Mac App Store (8.99 euros)
- iOS (4.49 euros)
- Android (4.49 euros)
Also available for Nintendo Switch, computer and mobile devices, a curiosity is that most of the sounds of the game are created with the developers own voices. By the way, on Steam you have an additional pack: Hidden Folks – Beach Pack.
Find …

Despite being a very particular type of game and a niche audience, the truth is that there are some other proposals in addition to these two already discussed. For example, Little Hidden City is one of them, but its greater graphic realism like that subtracts that point of attractiveness that the previous ones offer.
Possibly, having grown up with those books whose hand drawings were small stick figures, unconsciously make us more attracted by similar proposals. But if you like finding lost things, they are all a good option. Of course, if you only have to choose one or two proposals at most, which are Hidden Folks and Hidden Through Time, you will surely like them.
