Have you ever wondered what note your computer would have? Years ago Microsoft included a tool that told us what grade our computer would have. Now this tool is not available but we explain how to know what grade Windows 10 gives your computer .
As we have explained in the previous paragraph, Windows included a tool in previous versions as in Windows XP, for example, in which it told us what note our computer would have according to its analysis . What note had our hardware and the different components that we have installed. From Windows 10

With third-party tools: Winaero
You can know the note that Windows gives to your computer with the Winaero WEI Tool program on our computer. It is free and not only gives us a total mark but also marks each component or each section with a specific mark. By making the average of all the notes collected, it is possible to have an average that will be the note of our computer.
What is it based on? There are a series of parameters that the program uses to give the grade of your computer: the processor, the RAM, the graphics or video card and the hard disk . Using all the scores obtained in these sections makes an average and you can know if it is worth making any changes.
The first thing we have to do is go to the Winaero WEI Tool website . Once on its website we simply have to go to the link to download the program and a zip file will be downloaded to our computer. It is not necessary to install anything, it is a portable program that we can activate automatically when it has been downloaded to our computer.
Go to the folder where it was downloaded and tap on “Run.” You will see that the score obtained in the five previous parameters appears in just a few seconds. You will see the grade of each of them and on the right side you will see the final grade.
Other benchmarks
You can use many benchmarks or performance tests for your computer. It is a kind of software that, like the previous one, performs a complete examination of everything that works on your PC. The previous one is very basic and you can simply get an idea of the note that Windows would give to your computer but it does not give you exact and concrete parameters if you want something more specific, technical or professional. But there are other free benchmarks that give you more information.
PCMark and 3DMark
PCMark is one of the most complete software if you want to do an analysis on your computer and want to measure its performance. You can tint at various levels and the interface is very simple and suitable for any user, even if they are not an expert.
It performs all kinds of performance tests at many different levels and has versions for business or for home use. In the case of the version for home use, we can download a basic pack for free that will do a test and show us what it is capable of. If it convinces you, you can bet on much more advanced paid versions that promise a complete analysis, comparisons or the possibility of saving the results offline to use or read them whenever you want.
As in the previous case, you can also try 3DMark Basic Edition for free, a software in charge of testing our graphic performance. There is a version that you can download at no cost, although there is also a more complete option and even a “bundle” that includes PcMark 10, 3DMark and VRMark.
CineBench
Another interesting benchmark that is completely free is CineBench and it is capable of testing all the processor cores and giving us a score. It does a processor performance test and a graphics card performance test and gives us the details. It is compatible with Windows 10 but also with Mac . And the great advantage is that it is completely free and you can install it on your computer.
To use it, you simply have to download the file to your computer and it will be in ZIP format. Unzip what is in the folder and look for the executable of the program that you will find. Accept the license agreement and start using Cinebench. On the left side you will find the details of what it is going to evaluate and you can go to File> Run all selected test. After a few seconds or minutes he will do the exam and what he has managed to analyze will appear on the screen.
