It is a reality that drones have brought about a revolution in technology and have been entering our lives more and more, making themselves a bigger hole in society and can be used for different activities. Although at first their profile was for military use, they have become a very useful tool for leisure and entertainment such as making videos, recording aerial perspectives.
However, there are many companies and companies that use drones for tasks that at first seem crazy, but thanks to the advancement of technology they allow tasks to be carried out with optimal precision, allowing their application to areas such as the ones we are going to see then:
Glass cleaning drones
In 2015 it was the first time that this type of drone was seen in a contest in the United Arab Emirates. The German company Window Cleaning Drones has already tested these aircraft that clean glass facades and roofs even at very high heights.

But it is not the only one that has signed up to this trend, since the Catalan company Cleandrone or the English company The Sullivan 5000 wants to use these drones to clean buildings.
Sheep herding drones
During the summer of last year, the Center for Agrifood Research and Technology of Aragón developed a test in which it used a drone to control the flocks of sheep. This reached up to 600 meters and traveled with the sheep a distance of 2 kilometers.

This system was not only useful for monitoring the sheep, as it also served to check from a distance the quality of the infrastructure used by the herds, such as drinking fountains, salt blocks, etc. After a while, the researchers realized that the herds habituated the area through which the drone passed, so it is valued that this use of drones continues.
Bird control drones at airports
Southampton Airport used a hawk-shaped drone to control birds moving through the area, as bird strikes on airplanes pose a threat to airplanes. The drone is shaped like this animal since birds see it as a predator.

The tests that were carried out were a total success, since during the test period more than 200 flights were carried out and the impacts between aircraft and birds were reduced by 74%.
In addition, in addition to helping to better control birds at airports, it also favors their operations, avoiding delays and interruptions.
Fire fighting drones
Summer has arrived and forest fires are usually something that unfortunately we see happening every year. However, for example, the Community of Madrid has developed a fire-fighting drone unit to evaluate fires and their evolution.

This drone unit will consist of five pilots and an officer, who will work with five drones: two heavy (with six propellers) and three light (with four propellers). The mission of these drones will be to replace above all the night fire extinguishing equipment.
Anti-graffiti drones
The German train company Deutsche Bahn has decided to bet on this technology since each year it has to remove 14,000 graffiti from its trains, costing them about 7.6 million euros.

For now, these drones will be used in the experimentation phase. The images recorded by the drones will be used if necessary for a court case or otherwise, they will be eliminated.
Ambulance drones
The Delft University of Technology, in the Netherlands, has developed ambulance drones that aim to solve the cause of many sudden deaths, such as a heart attack.

The idea of these drones is that when an accident of these characteristics occurs, it arrives before the ambulance itself, since the first minutes are vital and acting before can differentiate between life and death of the affected person. These drones would have two-way video and audio communication along with first-aid kits. Once the drone arrives, it will instruct someone nearby on what to do with the first aid kit.
