Following the arrival of the Isle of Rebirth to Warzone, many players are still awaiting the release of a larger map that will allow the 150 player battle royale mode to be played on a different map than Verdansk. Well, everything indicates that the pieces are more or less in their place, but there is still a little left to make it official.

Since Cold War began its campaign of teasers and hidden videos within Warzone, much has been speculated about what the new battle royale map would look like. The information that was shown in many of the promotional videos spoke of a story around the Ural Mountains, in fact, even the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War campaign itself passes through that area throughout history.
But the interesting thing comes with the multiplayer of Cold War , since there is a mode called Earth War that offers two large maps for 40 players, Alpine and Ruka, which, eye to the fact, are curiously located in the Ural Mountains. Chance? Obviously not.

As many began to suspect, these. Two maps could basically be sections of the next Warzone map , something that was previously done with the Verdansk map and which could make new sense in the deployment of the new location.
Treyarch could be preparing the launch of new maps with the idea of continuing to expand that area until the main map is completed. When will the new Warzone map be playable?
There are many questions surrounding the launch of the new map. The island of Reborn has served as a soothing for those looking for new adventures, but as it is not a giant map and does not respect the rules of the classic battle royale, it does not feel like a generation jump. And since we are talking about generation leap, we should also talk about the fact that the new map of the Ural Mountains could finally be integrated into Cold War, thus leaving Modern Warfare once and for all and allowing those who need it to uninstall the previous installment of Call of Duty.
Regarding the launch, some rumors suggest that the first anniversary of Warzone will be a good time to launch the new map, an event that will take place in March, so we will still have to wait until we can play it. All this waiting time may serve, as we have already mentioned, to continue including more parts of that great map in the form of new multiplayer maps, so we will have to be attentive to the new additions that appear.
