Microsoft has recently announced that those users who pay for one of the commercial editions of Microsoft 365 will receive this application next month for free. The new Visio web will be a reduced version of the program, lighter, that will offer users the most basic functions without detracting from everything that this software offers us. It won’t be as comprehensive an edition as the Professional or Plan 2 edition, but it will provide the essential Visio experience.
One of the features of this edition is that it will allow you to inject diagrams directly into other programs, such as Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more. It will also allow you to collaborate with other users, choose templates to create the diagrams and much more.
We can request early access to this new website from this form . Microsoft 365 Personal or Family users will not be able to use this new web version of Visio for now . In a way it makes sense, since normally we will not need to make diagrams in our day to day as much as a company. However, if we need it, we can always opt for a free alternative to Visio, such as Dia .
