The front cameras of our mobiles can come in very different options. It is easy to find the selfie camera in a notch, a hole in the screen, in the frame of a lifetime or even in the form of a pop-up module. However, all these variables are only part of a transitory period, since they all coincide in what future happens to hide the sensor under the front panel, in order to offer a real all-screen experience.
As we say, the industry is clear that the future goes through a mobile phone whose front camera is hidden . We have seen several patents in this regard, and the companies that have revealed the most to pursue this goal have been Xiaomi and OPPO, although Huawei or Samsung are also behind their integration. However, a few days ago we learned that it may be ZTE, the company that first presents a mobile with this technology, with the next Axon 20 5G.
The ZTE surprise
The company that we least expected to be the first to show this technology was ZTE, but everything indicates that it will, except for surprise. The company has set a date on the calendar, marking September 1 as the day on which this new terminal will be unveiled, which will mark a milestone in the industry, if no one accelerates the plans and anticipates.
Now, we have seen a video, in which ZTE makes the technology official. In it, created as a snack, we can see the Axon 20 5G, or at least its all-screen design without hindrance. You can see how the Chinese company vindicates this technology by discarding all other options including holes in the screen and pop-up cameras.
What is expected
We do not know in what state this technology is from the hand of ZTE and if it is a totally polished commercial bet . Let’s remember that the firms that we did know were behind this design, have revealed the difficulties involved in this type of sensor capturing enough light to achieve quality shots, especially in low-light environments.
To launch this technology, a powerful mobile is expected, with a large 6.92-inch FullHD + screen, and a 64 megapixel main rear camera. Its battery could reach 4,120 mAh with fast charge and of course it is compatible with 5G networks, thanks to its Snapdragon 765G processor with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. As we say, on September 1 we will leave doubts and we will see one of the most anticipated changes in the industry.
