The first thing you will have to do is have a TikTok account, registering in the application and entering with your username and password. It is not necessary to register in the fashion app to be able to see videos but if you want to upload your own or want to share them on Instagram. The advantage of linking the accounts of one and another social network is that you will reach a wider audience and you will not even have to jump from one to another application to be able to share the videos in both. It’s simple.
- Open your TikTok application, with your account already created
- Click in the lower right corner, under “I”
- You will access your profile with your followers, likes, photography …
- Click on the option “Edit profile”
- Go to the bottom of the profile screen
- Choose the option “Add Instagram to your profile …”
- Once here, a popup will tell you to log in to Instagram
- Enter username and password
- Log in
- Choose whether or not you want to save the login information
- Confirm in the option that asks you whether or not you want to stay connected
- Authorize to complete the process
Once you have followed these steps, both TikTok and Instagram accounts will be linked. The great advantage is that you will not have to save the video and upload it over and over, but you will automatically be able to send it to your Instagram Stories without having to change the application or exit TikTok.
When you go to share a video on TikTok, you will have to select the “Instagram Stories” button and you will publish it on both social networks simultaneously.
Unlink
You can unlink it whenever you want by following the same steps and if you have regretted it. Just go to your profile and delete the Instagram account.
- Open your TikTok app
- Go to the “I” section in the lower right corner
- Tap on “Edit Profile”
- Click on the “Instagram” option at the bottom
- When you touch, you can automatically unlink
- Confirm in the popup and your account is deleted
Download and upload
You may simply want to have TikTok videos for your social networks or to send to specific contacts or you want to save them in the gallery . In that case, you can record the video you want, download it and upload it to Instagram or do whatever you want with it. You can have it, delete it from TikTok in a few seconds and use it on any other social network, including Instagram. Of course, it is mandatory that you upload it and it does not allow you to download the content while it is not uploaded. Then you can quickly delete it if you want. Another option for you to use TikTok to record videos and upload them to Instagram downloaded is that you put your account “Private” and have no follower. So no one will see what you upload to TikTok but you can download them.

- Go to TikTok
- Press the “+” button in the center to create a video
- Choose the effect you want, the speed, the filters …
- Record the video you want and click on the “Next” icon
- At that time the Publish screen will appear
- Choose the option “Save to device”
- Confirm with the red Publish button
It will automatically be published and saved in your gallery. Choose if you want to remove it from the application or not but you will already have it downloaded for whatever you want.
Once you have it, just go to Instagram and choose the video.
- Go to your Instagram profile
- Tap the camera in the upper left corner to upload stories
