Xiaomi has already started the next phase to start rolling out the MIUI 12.5 update via OTA for different models in its catalog. The Redmi Note 9 are left without update
The first to enjoy this new version were the Xiaomi terminals that were in the highest range. But, from now on, it is the turn of its mid-range and entry. Among them, was the entire series of Note 9. However, it is not the lucky day for those users who have any of these models.
Everything indicates that things have not gone exactly how they wanted for this family of Redmi. In addition, they have already suffered many delays with Android 11, since it was not until the beginning of last May that Xiaomi began to implement it. And although it is not clear what is causing this delay, it seems that the same problems that were in the past with the launch of Android 11 are being the same culprits for the failure to update to MIUI 12.5.

This same source has assured that it was scheduled for the second quarter of the year, but the fault that it has not arrived is due to the fact that they have not managed to stabilize this layer of software in these terminals.
