If you were about to watch the broadcast of your favorite streamer and you have run into a strange error in the browser. Relax, you are not alone. It seems that all users in Spain are affected by a problem of blocking domains that they are leaving without accessing the Twitch servers. But what exactly happened?
Twitch bug # 2000

Around 2:30 PM, many users are reporting a strange error on the Twitch website, as all those who are trying to connect to a stream are getting the message “A network error has occurred. Try again. (Error # 2000) “ . It is a serious problem that prevents access to the servers from which the content is being broadcast, but far from being a problem of its own that affects Twitch technicians, in reality, it is a national blockade that is affecting everyone users in Spain.
Content blocked by request of the competent authority
The blocking of domains and web servers is often related to the content of pirted broadcasts and the propagation of video signals in violation of Copyright. Something must have happened with a Twitch account that a complaint has pointed directly to the general servers, so we imagine that, instead of requesting the ban of the account and the IP of that person who was broadcasting illegal content, the competent authority has sent the operators the order to block a specific server. This is what they usually do when they want to take down websites for broadcasting football matches, or websites for downloading ROMs.
And of course, the world has been bundled.
No access to Twitch

What at first some thought was a specific error of their service provider, reality has shown that all users in Spain are affected by this unique problem. The most knowledgeable of the subject, have been able to verify how the * .ttvnw.net domains have been blocked by providers such as Jazztel, Orange, Movistar and Vodafone, making it impossible to access live broadcasts from an internet connection with IP in Spain.
There’s a solution?
At the moment the only possible solution to bypass this block is to use a VPN that simulates that your connection comes from another place. The Opera browser has its own built-in VPN, but you can use other similar services to bypass the ban.
At the moment Twitch has not officially communicated anything, but the problems are more than evident, and social networks are filling with comments about it. Are you having trouble accessing the service? Leave a comment and tell us what problems you are experiencing.
