For this reason, it allows us to transfer photos and files wirelessly from the mobile to the computer on all Xiaomi phones. We just have to use the tools that MIUI offers us in all versions and follow a few simple steps.
Each of the manufacturers chooses their method and possibilities, finding one in Xiaomi based directly on an online FTP. It does not matter the version of Android, the version of MIUI or the model that we have, because in all of them we will have direct access to ShareMe, the tool that facilitates the process and makes that in a matter of seconds we have everything we need on the computer .
Steps to send files from mobile to computer
The process is suitable for all levels and we could say that practically anyone can do it, although it is important that we follow the whole process that we are going to show you to achieve it to the letter. To make it happen, all you need is a computer with internet access and being on the mobile phone on the same WiFi network. With this we will be able to have fast and instant access to the photos or files of our Xiaomi, Redmi or Poco mobile on the computer.
To start, on your mobile you have to look for the ShareMe tool, which is usually inside the tools folder on the home screen. Once located we will play on it. Now we just have to slide the lower white bar that appears and touch on the option called “Share with computer”. It will show us in the image the name of the WiFi network to which we are counted and which must be the same on the computer.
We continue touching on “Start” to choose between the two options and copy photos or files from Xiaomi to the computer , whichever you prefer. The non-secure mode goes back only to when we are under the home WiFi and the alternative with password for file exchanges in public WiFi networks where another user could have access to our data. Once one of the options has been chosen, we will get the FTP address that we have to write in the computer’s browser.
Download the files from the mobile to the PC
Once we finish typing the FTP address completely on the computer and access, we will see a kind of file manager , where we can navigate through the folders we have on our mobile. You just have to go to the desired route and touch the photos or file that we want to get.
Then we click on the option to see it or to save it on the computer . This will not remove them from the mobile, it will be a copy.
