It may be a horrible time for movie theaters, but that hasn’t stopped streaming service productions and other production companies from working hard to bring new stories to the big screen (and to all theaters as well). And for a sample, the latest trailers of what is to come. Ready for a good sci-fi session?

New trailers for upcoming releases

In the coming months we are going to enjoy a series of quite interesting premieres, since we will have doses of science fiction with a high content of great productions and extremely anticipated titles. If at this point you are completely lost of what you are going to find beyond the expected premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home , take a look at the following trailers to catch up.

Dune

One of the most anticipated productions for all that it entails. A luxurious cast starring Timothée Chamalet and Zendaya, along with Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Jason Momoa, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgard, Dave Bautista and Javier Bardem. Almost nothing. Based on the famous novel by Frank Herbert and brought to the big screen by Denis Villeneuve, the film will hit theaters in Spain on September 17.

UFO

From the hand of the genius of science fiction and the paranormal (with Lost he made us believe in anything), JJ Abrams returns with a documentary series of 4 chapters based on the documentation that the United States Department of Defense officially published recently and that generated a wave of opinions among faithful believers in extraterrestrial life. A very own theme that only good Abrams will know how to make the most of it. The trailer certainly leaves us with a good taste in our mouths.

Blade Runner: Black Lotus

Announced at San Diego Comic-Con, this anime based on the Blade Runner universe is situated between the events of Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049. With the name of Blade Runner: Black Lotus, it will take us to Los Angeles in the year 2032, and there we will meet the replicant Elle (Black Lotus), who with special abilities must escape from the organization that is after her.

Star Trek: Prodigy

This animated series of 10 chapters will tell us the ideas and comings of a group of aliens who will steal the USS Protostar, an abandoned ship of the starfleet from which they will live several adventures with the company of Captain Janeway’s hologram, from Star Trek: Voyager . The series will premiere at the end of the year on Paramont Plus.

Star Trek: Lower Decks

Another Star Trek ship that will bring more space adventures. This time we have the second season of this animated series that recounts the space travel of the crew of the USS Cerritos. With a third season in the oven, this new one will be available at the end of the year at Paramont Plus.

As you can see, there are many new releases about science fiction that await us in the coming months, so if you are a lover of the genre, you are in luck.
