OnePlus is not fulfilling what it promised its users, since it had said that OxygenOS 12 would be available in mid-2022 for certain models, however, while there are mobiles of the brand and others that already have the new customization layer Android 13, there are others that continue to this day without receiving Android 12.

There are several users who are complaining that today they still do not receive the new Android 12 customization layer on their mobile, which reaches OnePlus under OxygenOS 12, when the company had said it would be a few months ago. We are already finishing the year and the anger grows as the days go by.
But it is not something that happens to all the models of the brand that should receive the new version of Android, but rather it is a problem that occurs in some specific models.
In October, the OnePlus 7 still does not receive Android 12
When mobiles like the OnePlus 10 Pro and others arrive with stable OxygenOS 13, there are models that have not yet received the previous update. We are talking about OnePlus 7 series devices. Specifically, OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7T Pro.

The mobiles that already received this improved version with new settings and icons in the middle of this year as the brand had announced, among other changes, are:
- OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro (the first to be updated)
- OnePlus 9R
- OnePlus 8T
- OnePlus 8 Pro
- One Plus 8
- OnePlus Nord 2
- OnePlus Nord CE
- OnePlus Nord
Although the devices of this series 7 received the beta 1 and beta 2 of the operating system, the latest stable and secure update has not yet arrived. They are waiting for a new update and to receive stable Android 12.
Many of them are really worried and want to know what is going on as they have not had any information about it for a long time. Some of them have expressed their complaints on Twitter, others in the thread where the brand confirmed OxyGenOS 12 and others in different other media.

They are models that arrived with Android 9 in 2019 and received some previous important update. The stable version of Android 12 is expected to be the last major update for these phones that still have a lot of life left and are waiting. Much.
Waiting for official confirmation
The company has not yet commented on the matter and has not reported the dates on which this customization layer will arrive at the OnePlus 7 series mentioned.
This is a problem that apparently is only occurring in these models, but it is worrying enough to make us wonder what is happening and why OnePlus does not inform its users about what will happen to their mobiles or at least speaks out to reassure them.
Currently, we are waiting for them to say something officially and continue to inform those owners of these OnePlus 7 that it is temporarily shelving. Taking into account that there are many affected users, we hope that they will give an answer now.
