What does the new Apple TV 4K (2022) offer?

Two versions with two differences
This Apple TV 4K will be available in two versions, one with 64 GB and WiFi connectivity , and another with 128 GB of storage and WiFi and Gigabit Ethernet as network connection options. The 128 GB model would therefore be the only one that could connect to wired networks, so if you have a media server at home with a lot of heavy content, this may be the version you need.
Still, the price of both is great. The 64 GB model costs 169 euros and the 128 GB jumps to 189 euros , one of the most reasonable price differences we have seen so far in an Apple product.
The Trojan horse
But as we said, the strategy is what catches our attention the most, and here Apple is leaving it to you on a platter. Its Apple TV + service continues to expand content, and increasingly interesting, and with series that have permeated such as Ted Lasso, Severance or The Morning Show, the public is increasingly interested in taking advantage of the plan.
And the key is that when you buy an Apple TV, they give you 3 months of subscription completely free so you can dive between all their series and their best movies. Once inside, the safest thing is that you stay, or at least get lost and pay for a few forgotten months. That will add user share and the service will gain more weight in the market.
If you stay, you will have to add the 60 euros a year that the service costs, so the 169 euros of Apple TV will eventually become 230 euros for many users. With that price, the Apple TV 4K becomes one of the most attractive players on the market, because if, on the one hand, a 50-euro Chromecast offers you a great interface and access to all the services that Apple TV can offer you, Apple’s option boasts that it can be turned into a games console thanks to services like Apple Arcade, support for Bluetooth gamepads and the incredible power of the A15 Bionic.
The option that would remain for us is the NVIDIA Shield , the quintessential Android TV media player that shares a lot with the Apple TV, but after this update it falls short in terms of performance. Of course, we are not going to discover the possibilities of the Google operating system now, and being able to install IPTV programs on Android TV is something that many users welcome.
