Just yesterday we announced that the Samsung Galaxy S22 family was starting to receive the One UI 5 update based on Android 13 as the operating system. This has only been the beginning of a series of deployments that will begin next November with a long list of devices that will boast the new version of the ecosystem.
This renewal of Google software along with the customization layer of the South Korean company promises great news for users . Among the most striking features of One UI 5 are the new lock screen somewhat inspired by iOS 16, the better integration of Material You and the Bixby text transcription option, although this is another arena.
When does your Samsung update to Android 13
The Asian company has shared a calendar with Samsung Galaxy devices and the corresponding dates on which they will receive the One UI 5 and Android 13 update. So you can already know when you can start enjoying all the features that come with these versions .
So far, only the Galaxy S22 line of smartphones has released the full update and the rest are in the beta program right now, although the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 should not take long to do the same. The company has not given more details about what will be next after these last three devices, although it is expected that as the deployment progresses, the number of compatible smartphones will increase . Do not be scared if yours does not appear among the chosen ones, because there are many M series mobiles that are also going to be completely renewed, but they have not yet been included in Samsung’s roadmap.
