Whether the colors in a photo are more or less real has become a matter of taste. It no longer matters if the landscape really had that green, as long as the filter added is good for uploading to social networks. Even without filters, we often see how mobiles make very particular interpretations of color in certain circumstances. However, when it comes to adding filters to our photos , we have it easier than ever.
As is often the case with all the best ones that come natively to our mobile, in the past, adding filters to photos was a matter of various third-party applications. That complicated everything when the goal was to add the filters natively. Fortunately, and although it is still something that goes unnoticed by some users, it is something that we already find in practically all native Android cameras.
How to add camera filters
Choose the right filter
The method for adding filters before taking a photo is the same on all devices. There may be some slight difference between layers, but the truth is that the icon that gives way to the filters is the same. To be able to activate them before the photos, we must activate the camera application. Next, we will see the filters icon represented by three linked circles. By pressing it we will see all the options offered by our mobile. Both the names of the filters and their quantity can also vary from one model to another and depending on the layer of each manufacturer.
Change filter intensity
Once we have selected the appropriate filter we will have several options. The first will be to shoot and take the photo as the filter appears by default. The second option is to slide the side bar, which will allow to print more or less force to said filter. To the right we will enhance the filter, while sliding to the left will create a softer effect.
Portrait mode filters
We can also find filters in portrait mode, which aims to achieve better results when taking photos of people , with the background out of focus. These filters can be found next to the traditional filters, and we will also have several options to choose from before each shot.
And in video mode?
In the same way, the filters can be applied previously to the video recording. To do this we will only have to slide to select the video mode and press the filters icon again. This will set the filter before recording begins.
