To start, take your Android mobile and access the Google Play Store applications. Here you have to download the AutoResponder application for WA from this link . As you can imagine, this app not only serves to program automatic responses to Christmas messages, but also for any message that you receive through WhatsApp at any time of the year and that you cannot respond to.

Once the app is downloaded and installed on your phone, open it and access the settings menu to manage notifications . Among the available options, you first have to choose whether to reply automatically to messages from a specific contact or to all contacts indiscriminately.

The following setting requires you to specify the text included in the message that you want to filter by. You can specify that the match is exact or that it is similar, that is, it includes some of the words that we have marked as a filter. Using WhatsApp Business

Another option that is not so complete, but that can be used generically, is to use the business version of WhatsApp. WhatsApp Business does not require you to have a business to use it and among some of its functions is the automatic response of messages when we are absent.

The advantage of this option is that it could be used on both Android and iOS phones, but the only drawback here is that unlike the applications we have just seen, you will not be able to choose who you want to receive the answer and, above all, no you can filter by message, so you risk that everyone receives a Christmas greeting from you regardless of what you have been told in the message.
