Sony has a long background in mobile telephony. Although it has lost ground in recent times, it has launched some of the best terminals in history, and that no one will take away any Xiaomi or realme that dare to arrive sweeping. The Japanese company has always boasted screen, sound and camera, something that has always focused on. However, its terminals are not free from operating problems in these key aspects.
One of the mobiles that have the most can with the sound has been the Xperia M2. Still in the hands of a good handful of users despite being a 2014 terminal, many people have reported problems with their microphone. This means that the callers of a call do not hear them well, or that WhatsApp audios are not recorded properly, among other problems derived from this hardware.
How to fix the problems with the micro

To do this, we go to the telephone dialer and press * # * # 7378423 # * # * If once in the test we verify that one or both microphones have failures, it is very possible that we are facing a hardware problem that needs to be solved by replacing the main microphone board. In this case we will have to weigh if it is worth repairing, or we take a look at a new mobile.
Cases, a habitual culprit
If the device has a cover or case, we must remove it and check if the sound quality improves. In the same way it is important to be sure that there is no water or dust blocking the microphone or the area near the microphone. To access the Safe Mode we have to press and hold the power key until the device vibrates. When the Sony and Xperia logos appear, press and hold the volume down key until Safe Mode appears on the screen. Now we only have to delete those recently installed applications and check if the problem is solved.
