We are at the gates of the official presentation of the new Sony Xperia 5 II , one of the great terminals that have yet to be presented. During the last weeks we have been learning about some of its technical data, and now it is being filtered again thanks to one of the most popular certification web pages, which discovers a large number of terminals not presented throughout the year.
Sony is expected to integrate some key technologies into the Xperia 5 II, such as 5G connectivity. The design of the device was partially leaked, or at least intuited, when a month ago we could see its protective cases. Now, the TENAA certification body, once again serves as a guide to know what we will find when Sony officially reveals its existence.
More technical data
Now, we know that the Sony Xperia 5 comes with the model numbers XQ-AS72 and XQ-AT72. According to the details of the certification, the terminal will be compatible with 5G Dual networks and will have DualSIM function. The screen of the phone will reach 6.5 inches and has dimensions of 166 × 72 × 7.9 mm and a weight of 181 grams. Also, its battery is 3,860 mA h and the place of production is Thailand.
In addition, according to previous leaks, the Sony Xperia 5 II will integrate the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, which will be accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. However, the second model cited on TENAA indicates that there will also be a version with up to 12GB of RAM . Its display is expected to have a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
There will also be few surprises in the photographic section, since the data from their cameras was previously leaked. The terminal will have three 12 megapixel sensors, consisting of a main camera with aperture f / 1.7, a 124º wide angle and a telephoto lens that can achieve a 3x optical zoom. It is also likely to integrate a 3D ToF sensor. However, on a design level, the device will remain anchored in the past, with reduced but pronounced bezels on both the top and bottom margins.

Sony is expected to unveil the Xperia 5 II officially on September 17.
